As part of the sixth edition of Charity Week, the Micron Capable Employee Resource Group (ERG) came together for a meaningful cause through its signature Culinary War Challenge.
In this spirited cook-off, six leaders took to the kitchen and raised over $20,000 for the Goh Chok Tong Enable Fund (GCTEF). The Fund supports persons with disabilities by creating opportunities for them to lead fulfilling and socially inclusive lives. With strong support from employees and donors, the Challenge demonstrated how collective action, even though simple activities such as cooking a meal, can create lasting impact.
SG Enable, the focal agency for disability and inclusion in Singapore, expressed its appreciation for Micron’s commitment to empowering lives. The agency noted that Micron’s example serves as an encouragement for more organisations to contribute, in ways big or small, towards the GCTEF and the communities it supports.
