Ms Sherena Loh

Sherena, 61 years old,was told she would not live beyond 25 years when diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the age of 15. She has since defied the odds and was a prime mover in implementing innovative services across the nation that has empowered and integrated people with disabilities, including co-founding the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore).

She is nominated by Mr Akash Mohapatra.
